Session Description, and Who Could Benefit

About the sessions

For in-person sessions, clients relax on a practice table, clothed, while the practitioner scans the body for resonating imbalances via applied kinesiology (muscle testing.) The practitioner scans using the legs, holding the client’s heels in a special flat bottomed shoe that helps us see movement in the legs. For remote sessions, the practitioner uses a dowsing pendulum to communicate with the body in place of muscle testing.

The body guides the practitioner in knowing which layers of imbalance need to be addressed first. The practitioner will then place small magnets on the client’s body (over the clothes,) on the points that correspond to the imbalances identified by the body. For some locations, the client may be asked to place magnets on their own body. (Remote clients place their own magnets with the guidance of the practitioner.) Clients rest on the table for generally 15-20 minutes while the magnets do their work, then the magnets are removed and the session is complete.

The sequence with which we address the various needs identified by the body matters very much. The body guides this, and the practitioner does not override the sequencing the body requests. It is important for clients to understand that if they have a priority in mind for what should be addressed, the body may not agree. We may be able to address the specific issue raised, but not until we reach its layer. Addressing something before the body is ready for it can lead to a healing crisis, which could be severe. It is therefor highly recommended that clients understand they may need to return for several sessions to see the best results, and plan to follow through on as many sessions as it takes to get through all the layers. It is safe to stop BPT at any time.

Many clients see symptoms shift after only one or two sessions, though it is important to understand that BPT is not a magic bullet. Clients who have been ill for a long time or have multiple chronic illnesses may benefit from dozens of sessions, possibly spanning months or years. Occasionally, clients see no shift with the aid of BPT; it is safe to stop BPT at any time and clients are encouraged to only utilize it if they feel it is supporting their healing. Please read my story to learn about the timeline of my own recovery from chronic Lyme, chronic EBV, post-covid complications, and more with the support of BPT. Sessions are usually 2-4 weeks apart, which can be good news (because it disperses the cost,) and disappointing news (because this is not a quick-fix protocol.) My pricing structure is designed with the duration and other impacts of chronic illness in mind.

After a session

Immediately after a session, you may feel tired, or less commonly, dizzy or nauseous. Other symptoms of detoxification, such as changes in amount or scent of sweat and urine, are also common. In the days following a session, the symptoms of a small healing crisis may present themselves: existing symptoms may increase in intensity, or new symptoms may emerge. Because magnet placement is done with the healing crisis in mind, these changes are usually very minor. They resolve within a few days, and you may feel a significant improvement in symptoms in the days leading up to your next scheduled session.

Hydration and rest are very important to support the body in healing. The use of alcohol and other drugs can overload the body, significantly impair healing, and even cause a severe healing crisis, so it is recommended that clients avoid these while receiving biomagnetic pair therapy. Some clients may benefit from detox aids such as binders or epsom salt baths.

Who could benefit

The original BPT protocol, developed by Dr. Isaac Goiz provides a surface-level approach to supporting the body in many types of healing. I chose to take my practice further by training in the Lyme Magnetic Protocol (LMP.) LMP could be an excellent resource to support healing for anyone struggling with known tick-borne diseases, chronic infections like EBV and mold toxicity, and some types of autoimmunity and viral persistence.

The Post-Covid Protocol (PCP) was designed specifically for those suffering post-covid complications. It may benefit anyone who just hasn’t felt quite right since covid, those who developed another conditions as a result of covid, as well as those suffering significant illness as a result of long covid or an adverse vaccine response.

Please keep in mind that Biomagnetic Pair Therapy is not a substitute for medical care or medication. A practitioner cannot provide medical diagnoses, nor medical treatments or cures for any disease, including the diseases discussed here. BPT aims to provide complementary support for the body’s natural healing processes and for healing that is aided by allopathic medicine.

The underlying causes of complex illness are often not well understood, and biomagnetic pair therapy may help the body heal itself on a deeper level. For those struggling with undiagnosed dis-ease and/or pain, muscle testing may reveal ways the body is asking for help that can be very difficult to hear through other forms of testing.

Biomagnetics is compatible with most forms of concurrent allopathic treatment and complementary support. Clients taking antibiotics or herbal remedies can safely receive biomagnetic pair therapy.

Exceptions:

Clients may not be able to receive biomagnetic pair therapy if they are currently receiving chemotherapy or radiation.

Clients with pacemakers may not be able to receive biomagnetic pair therapy.

MRI’s should not be done within 5 days of a biomagnetics session as the MRI will undo the influence of the magnets. It is not dangerous, but the biomagnetics session will have to be repeated after the MRI. An MRI may be done before the biomagnetics session.

Acupuncture works along many of the same energy meridians as does biomagnetics. While both can be done in conjunction, each practitioner should be aware that the client is doing both. This way, sessions can be scheduled far enough apart to avoid undoing the work of the other or overloading a system.
